Happy Birthday Jordan!

We had both families (and pretend family) over for a little BBQ and some ice cream cake to celebrate Jordan's quarter-of-a-century birthday. I totally would have thrown him this big party and made a big deal but he's not one for attention and persisted it be this low-key thing.

1. He wears a retainer to bed every night religiously.
2. He always has chapstick in his pocket, the green kind.
3. He served his mission in Des Moines, Iowa.
4. He looks so cute in glasses, but has refused to wear them other than driving at night because of something Bro. Cardall said about them being Versace brand a long time ago.
5. He is the farthest thing from a procrastinator. He's the student who does the paper the first week it's assigned so he doesn't have to think about it for the next three months. This characteristic I idealize but could never do if my life depended on it.
6. He irons every piece of clothing before wearing it - even if it’s not wrinkled.
7. He refuses to put basketball shoes on before he gets to the church gym.
8. He loves swimming and sitting in the jacuzzi.
9. When packing for a trip everything goes in their own ziplock. His toothbrush can’t touch his hair gel, deodorant, and so forth.
10. He is obsessed with showers and takes way more than necessary.
11. He dials 1800tellme for sports score updates if were not home watching.
12. He eats subway at least twice a week, and would everyday if I let him.
13. At home, he only drinks bottled water.
14. He loves to BBQ.

16. He would live in Southern California in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so expensive.
