We typically split holidays. We have a routine now that works for us, and we enjoy spending time with both families for the holidays. This year my mom got the flu and canceled on us last minute so we spent the afternoon having Thanksgiving with 72 of Jordan's extended family- aunts, uncles, cousins, spouses +kids. We all gathered at his grandparents' house. It ended up being really nice weather, so we enjoyed dinner outside. Grandma Hafen was nice enough to get a bounce house for the kids, so that's where Carson spent the majority of his time. Brynlee just loved running free with the other little ones her age. We had a good time catching up with the extended family we only see a handful of times every year.
