A nice little perk of having your dad as stake president, means he gets some nice emails that say "hey, your mission call is on it's way." On the downside, knowing a week in advance makes waiting until Thursday seem to crawl by at a snails pace.
But, it did come... the white envelope came!! And we were all so nervous for Sam. I think he is one of the few 19 year olds I know that prayed to stay stateside.
And his wish was GRANTED!
Sam will be serving in the Spokane, Washington Mission leaving for the Provo MTC on September 14th.
