Uncle Sammy is Home!

Jordan's youngest brother Sam, returned home from his full-time mission to Spokane, Washington. We all met up at the airport anxiously awaiting his arrival. We were anticipating a black suit to come gliding down the escalator's and instead was met with a grey one so it took us an extra second or two to realize it was really him coming down.
All 5 siblings back together again.
The rapidly growing Shields family
Sam and his little "sisters" the Turner girls.
I'm grateful to have been blessed by (all) Jordan's younger brother serving missions while we've been married. Especially the examples of Zack and Sam. Carson's prayed for them every night at dinner and if you ask him where he wants to go on his mission, he'll tell you Idaho or Washington - both places Sam has served over the last two years.

We definitely missed Sam. Jordan misses his "BYU" buddy to go to games, and play football against on the Xbox. Carson had a great relationship with him before he left and talked non-stop for the weeks leading up that he was coming home to play basketball with him. So, were glad the Sunday night xbox and backyard bball playing has continued after a couple year hiatus.

Zack & Carley
While Sam's been finishing up his mission, Zack and Ian have been busy dating girls and getting engaged. So he came home to two new soon-to-be sister-in-laws. Ian is marrying Leslie Kelly. They met in the singles ward, and she's from the next stake over finishing up her last semester at BYU-I. They get married Dec. 28th, and Zack's been up at BYU-Idaho dating Carley Davis from Layton, Utah. They got engaged the week Sam came home and are getting married two weeks later on January 11th in Salt Lake. Trisha and I are both super excited for more girls and sisters in the family!!
