Lake Powell

Our extended holiday weekend was fabulous. We went with my family on our annual Lake Powell trip. The Fourth of July part was low-key, no fireworks and although we had intentions of boating out to watch the ones Page puts on, we were having too much fun chatting that it kind-of just happened in the background. It was nice to vacation with my parents and two brothers’ families. Well, I guess Scotty is a brother but with no family yet, so ladies he’s cute and single.

Jordan’s been pretty busy this summer with work and school, that we’ve hardly seen him. So it was really nice to spend a few days of relaxation, with no studying and have him all to ourselves.

The picture over-kill begins... (and in no particular order).

The title has officially changed, from "Captain Ron" to "Captain Grandpa."

The water was a little chilly for Cars but he still managed to get in and splash around.

My mom waited to long to reserve a dog run at the doggy palace, so Kruger made his debut with us at the lake and I think he did very well, and might be accompanying us every summer now.
Jordan and Drew has some intense squirt gun fights.
Scotty just thinks he is that cool, next time he needs a "friend." He was a little lonely.
Parker just loved to chill.
Charlie loved helping with the babies. She was so good with them.

We're a card family. This time we went back to the basics with Uno, and Skip-bo and I introduced the fam to Phase10MASTERS. I even got Jordan to play a couple hands too!

Every night Grandpa would "help" fish with Drew.
He was so excited when they caught a fish!
Look at that face!
Charlie wanted to be right there next to the action but was a little hesitant to actually get anywhere close to it.

We really enjoyed our time with my family. Carson's officially a great traveler. He did really well in the car, both there and back. And I can't wait til he'll be a little fishy with the big kids.

He's such a cute chunky monkey! It's a good thing he is or else I might have been mad that he spit up on my face and new shirt! Love that kid! Glad you had a fun time with your fam!
