Movie Date with Mommy

Century Theatres does Summer Clubhouse Movies on Tuesday & Thursday mornings for $1. I decided to take Carson to see how he'd do. I figured for a dollar, if he only lasted five minutes then it wasn't a big deal.

Oh, I wished it had only cost me a dollar (or two). Of course, he wanted popcorn and a slurpee and I couldn't say no, so $11 later we were off to see Dolphin Tale. The movie was 113 minutes plus previews and Carson lasted 75 minutes total (1 hr. 15min.) until we left. I would consider that a success for only being 2 and never experiencing a movie on big screen. Dolphin Tale's plot line was probably a little too much for his attention span, so we'll try again with Charlotte's Web and Winnie the Pooh in August.
