While Daddy's AWAY... we PLAY!

Jordan went off to "Camp Helaman." It's a camp that they prepared for juniors and seniors in high school in our stake with 2 other stakes to Kolob, Utah. They were paired off with companions, some where extended leader callings of AP, Zone, and District Leaders. They had mini missionary workshops and what not. Jordan said it was really good, and it sounded like a great experience for all the boys who went.

That just meant I was a single mom for FOUR days, and I luckily survived. I only had a minimal breakdown for like 2 hours on Friday, while I was trying to take a final exam with Carson tugging at my leg but other than that -- while daddy was away we played.

Wednesday 7/10 - we ran some errands, and my parents invited us over for dinner. My dad, Carson,  and Brynlee ended up playing in the sprinkler hose. The water on their property comes from a well, and through the filtration it's really warm.

Thursday 7/11 - we went to the Discovery Museum with our Young friends: Sara, Katelyn, Julia, and Jack. I love that place, and buying the season pass was totally worth every penny. It is so nice to be able to go play for literally hours inside with air conditioning. It was also a monumental occasion. We haven't gone since Brynlee started walking and it was the first time she could rome on two feet. It was the best to not have to carry her everywhere because the floor's are too dirty for her to crawl. The Turner Girls showed up later with free 7-11 Slurpees! for the kids. They have the bestest [pretend] big sisters.

We also made some homemade pizza and strolled the neighborhood on a bike ride!

Friday 7/12 - We played. At the Park. In the Backyard. And at Chili's.

Saturday 7/13 - we ran our usual Saturday errands grocery shopping, bank and lunch at Sam's Club. Aunt Trish stopped by and of course Carson wanted to go play at her house, off he went until it was time to eat and we all met up at In-N-Out.
Then daddy came home, and we were all so excited to see him!
